Dr. Shruti Chachra, a Research Scientist originally from the UK, is now embarking on an exciting new chapter in Melbourne. Her journey began in the field of medical science, where she worked on a collaborative project between AstraZeneca, the Medical Research Council, and Newcastle University. The focus of the project was uncovering the mechanisms that link two critical chronic diseases: Type 2 Diabetes and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, as well as exploring the broader implications of cellular aging and health.

After years of contributing to drug testing and development, Dr. Shruti felt a calling to apply her knowledge in a different way—one that would have a direct impact on people’s lives through the power of prevention and cellular health.

This led Dr. Shruti to launch “BOTANICELLS,” a venture that specializes in nutraceuticals and cosmeceuticals, based here in Melbourne. With her background in research, Dr. Shruti developed her own formulations and holds patents based on extensive studies into cellular aging. Her products are designed to promote healthy aging, support menopausal health, and extend health span by addressing cellular repair from the inside out. This is achieved by improving mitochondrial DNA damage and increasing NAD production.

Botanicells has already launched their niacinamide-based cellular repair cream and resveratrol-based cellular revival serum, and they are eagerly looking forward to the October launch of their longevity complex—a product rooted in regenerative medicine, aimed at promoting healthy aging and overall wellness.

As a scientist turned entrepreneur, Dr. Shruti’s mission is to contribute to the health and wellness of people around the globe. Exhibiting at the Care Expo Melbourne from the 30th and 31st of August is a new and exciting opportunity for her to connect with like-minded individuals, share her passion for cellular health, and introduce products that can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Dr. Shruti is eager to be a part of this community and to continue her journey of promoting well-being through science.
